When we started Home Loan Village we really had a passion to make the process as easy as possible whilst giving our clients a sound education and grounding in what home lending means and all the intricacies involved. We feel we have achieved that with the team we have put together and can’t wait for you to join with us on your journey!

Aaron

Aaron

Hi my name is Aaron Bell and I am Home Loan Village’s owner and senior broker.

My role is to help you get approved for a loan, sweet and simple as that! Ultimately when you arrive with us it will be me who you are dealing with all through out the process, particularly in those beginning stages when we are assessing your borrowing capacity and choosing the right loan for your needs.

Once we submit the loan application my incredible staff help us get it to approval and settlement, but never feel like you can’t reach out to me. Whilst I become more of a process manager after submission I keep up to date with everything that is happening on the file and am not the sort of broker who wants to set you up then “ghost” you for the rest of the application!

I have fairly wide experience across several fields including as a police officer in the Queensland Police Service, as an Infantry Officer in the Army Reserve, and as a Financial Planner. Cumulatively I think these three roles in particular have most shaped my approach to broking, in that I am compassionate, caring, and very knowledgeable when it comes to my clients, and that I won’t hide away when the going gets tough- in fact that’s when I shine. I would also say its given me a certain tenacity when dealing with the banks in that I won’t accept silliness, and I will always have some courses of action up my sleave to achieve our desired outcome!

Hi my name is Rebecca and I am Home Loan Village’s Client Services Administration Manager.

I assist Aaron with general day to day tasks and will be looking after you from home loan approval, guiding you through the process to settlement- and beyond, helping to co-ordinate an annual review of your home loan. I strive at making this process smooth and efficient with my attention to detail and can-do approach to all my responsibilities.

With over 25 years customer service and administration experience, in Retail, Hospitality and Real Estate, I enjoy my role here at Home Loan Village assisting clients through the process of refinancing or purchasing a new home or investment property.

Outside of work, I am a busy mum with 3 children and love spending time with family and friends, painting and going for long walks in beautiful locations.

I look forward to assisting you 🙂

Amber

Hi my name is Amber and I am Home Loan Village’s Credit manager.

My main role is to take from a neatly packaged loan application from Aaron and put this into the lending application system of choice for the given lender, and take this all the way to approval- liaising with yourself and the bank constantly along the way.

There is a great need to stay on top of banks and lenders as every second counts, and I am often spending a great deal of time speaking to banks and pushing them to go faster (bank assessors are like the proverbial small child that gets distracted by whoever is the loudest!)- and I make it a point to be that, in a good way of course!

Previously I have been a senior assessor at a big 4 bank and this gives me great insight into the thinking process of an assessor and how to pre-empt questions and give the right information the first time. Whilst some push back on some files is inevitable in terms of further questions, my role is to make sure this happens as little as possible and we get a yes the first time, no questions asked!

I look forward to chatting with you at some point 🙂
